CLWA Water Conservation Program CLWA has partnered with The Home Depot and the City of Santa Clarita on a public education program aimed at reducing outdoor water usage in the Santa Clarita Valley this summer. With little rainfall and hot and dry summer months, the valley must carefully manage finite water supplies. So starting today and throughout the summer, Castaic Lake Water Agency is asking all customers to rethink water consumption and to reduce water usage by 10 percent. We have three easy ways to save water in your yards and gardens this summer.

WHAT IS CLWA?
Castaic
Lake Water Agency is a public water agency that services an area of 195
square miles in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The Agency is a water
wholesaler that provides about half of the water that Santa Clarita households
and businesses use.
The mission of Castaic Lake Water Agency is to provide reliable, quality water at a reasonable price to the Santa Clarita Valley. The Agency operates 2 treatment plants, 2 pump stations, 2 storage facilities, and over 17 miles of transmission pipelines.
Castaic Lake Water Agency supplements local groundwater supplies with
State Water Project water from northern California. This water is treated
and delivered to the local water retailers. The four purveyors served
by CLWA are: Los Angeles County Water District #36, Newhall County Water
District, CLWA Santa Clarita Water Division, and Valencia Water Company.
